Christina Milian Signs To Young Money/Cash Money Records
It looks like Lil' Wayne is giving a lot of people a chance including Busta Rhymes; Bow Wow; and now Christina Milian who is the newest signee to Young Money/Cash Money/Universal Records. Read more below:
It’s been a game of hop, skip, and jump for R&B belle Christina Milian in recent years.
Ditched by Def Jam in 2006, the 30 year old moved to the ill-fated MySpace Records, only to leave for The-Dream‘s Radio Killa imprint in 2010; a move which also saw her jump the broom with the hitmaker.
Yet, predictably, that deal spoiled when their marriage did, leaving Milian – once again – without a label.
Speaking at the Young Money / Cash Money Pre-Grammy Party last night, Lil Wayne announced that Milian was the latest singer to the Young Money roster.
The mother of one joins the likes of Wayne, Nicki Minaj and Drake at the label, which is distributed by Universal Republic (Universal Music).
