Whitney Houston, Jordin Sparks Star In Sparkle Remake

Whitney Houston and Jordin Sparks are set to star in the remake of the 1976 film; "Sparkle". The film is loosely based on the story of The Supremes about three sisters in 1950s Harlem who rise to fame. Jordin will play the title character while Houston will star as her mother(and executive produce) the movie. Mike Epps will also star as one of the boyfriends of the sisters.

Casting is still underway and this remake has been in the works for quite awhile so hopefully soon it will all come together.

Nas is the latest artist who is penning his memoir; "It Ain't Hard To Tell" will be released late next year. Meanwhile Nas will release his new album; "Life Is Good" soon. The current single; "Nasty" was released few months back.
