Throwback Video: Vesta - Sweet Sweet Love

I was surprised to learn about Vesta and her untimely death. The singer was said to be 48 or 53. Reports have varied. The singer is known primarily for a slew of R&B singles including the one featured; "Sweet Sweet Love", "Congratulations" and "Special". Her voice was eerily reminiscent of Chaka Khan's. I read awhile back though she was a former background singer to Chaka. R.I.P. to Vesta.

The video above is one of my favorite songs from Vesta and you hear the Chaka Khan resemblance loud and clear.
