J. Cole Picks New Single, Mariah Carey Back In The Studio

J. Cole has revealed that "Nobody's Perfect" featuring Missy Elliott will serve as his third single. Cole's debut album; "Cole World: The Sideline Story" will be in stores and online tomorrow; September 27. The album's current single; "Work Out" is climbing up the charts and a current favorite song of mine.

I was thinking that J. Cole's album would of been pushed back but obviously they feel he has enough power to push through. I'm not saying I disagree with his label's decision but I thought they would of waited until one of his singles or his current one would chart a little higher before his album was released. I think with all the buzz he's had and the Jay-Z assisted song; he might be okay. We will find out later in the week.

Mariah Carey is back in the studio with Jermaine Dupri. Jermaine Dupri is responsible for many of Mariah hits including "Shake It Off" and "We Belong Together". The singer took to her twitter to share the joyous occasion.

News on Mariah's new album have been in the news for awhile. Even husband Nick Cannon gushed about the new material awhile back to Perez Hilton. Only time will tell how the finished product will sound but Mariah usually brings it. Despite it under performing on the charts and in sales; "Memoirs Of An Imperfect Angel"; Mariah's last full length studio album was one of my favorites released in 2009.
