Brandy, Carl Thomas To Release New Albums

Brandy is hard at work on a new album; her first for the RCA label. It was revealed a little while back that the singer had a new record deal. The singer is tapping back into her early R&B roots. Along for the ride with Brandy are Rodney Jerkins; Timbaland; Bangladesh(worked with Ciara); Rico Love; and Jim Jonsin(produced "Lollipop" for Lil' Wayne). The album is slated to be released early next year.

Meanwhile its been noted that Brandy is taping an episode of BET's "The Game" which is rumored to air in January. She currently stars as a mentor in the show; "Majors & Minors" on the HUB network. She also has a recurring role on Lifetime's "Drop Dead Diva". Go Brandy! I'm hoping the new album is good and Brandy seems focused more than ever this time.

A singer that Brandy has collaborated with a few years ago; Carl Thomas is returning to the music scene. He will release his fourth album; "Conquer" on November 15. The title track will serve as the album's first single. Carl is now signed to Verve Music Group.

Carl's album was originally due back in the summer but with the majority of R&B releases; it suffered a few pushbacks.
