R.I.P. to Nick Ashford. His legacy will live on with songs such as the classic; "Solid" which is said to be based on the relationship between [Nick] Ashford & [Valerie] Simpson. This is one of my favorite songs from the pair as is the album of the same name. I grew up on this album and my Mother played it quite a bit. Actually when I used to cry as a baby; my Mother would put this on and I would shut up!

I kept wondering what it was about this post, that made it so successful; one word: JANET! The fact that Janet has new music on the way makes this post even more of a hot topic. As its been said before, no one sings about sex quite like Janet Jackson. Her songs, ooze with the right amount of sexuality perfect for a night of steamy sex.
