Nicki Minaj Plans Next Single, Whitney Houston Sparkles

Even though "Super Bass" is still going strong; Nicki Minaj is planning her next single; "Fly" featuring Rihanna. The song goes for radio adds on August 30. The song has been rumored to be a single for awhile and I believe I read a video for the song has been shot awhile back. Currently Nicki's debut album; "Pink Friday" has sold 1.5 million copies.

Do you remember the 1970's movie Sparkle? The movie starred Irene Cara and Lonette McKee; you have to look up those actors if you've never heard of them. Anyway the movie is getting the remake treatment. So far Whitney Houston is said to have some involvement in the film as far as producing is concerned. Whether or not she will have a part in the film is another thing.

The movie revolves around a group of sisters in Harlem who make it big. Things take a turn for the worse the sisters find themselves battling drug addictions, controlling boyfriends, and the shady music business.
