Nick Cannon Speaks On Mariah Carey's Upcoming Album

Nick Cannon has been speaking quite a bit for Mariah in regards to her new album. I would go as far as to think that Nick is pretty excited about the new music. Though Mariah can't really speak for herself right now since she is nursing her children. According to Nick Cannon; Mariah Carey is working diligently on her new album. While the release date and title is unknown; you can expect the album to be a throwback to her first two albums. Nick Cannon went on to hint that a new single will possibly be released at the end of the year. Look out for that!

Whitney Houston who is constantly compared to Mariah or vice versa is still dodging those pesky rehab rumors. Friend and confident; gospel singer; Kim Burrell mentioned Whitney was never in rehab! There is an addiction that Whitney is fighting though; cigarettes. It's been mentioned that there will not be another Whitney album until she gets her voice back in top shape. This is all according to head and label honcho; Clive Davis.

Well I guess in the meantime Whitney better kick her cigarette habit and start preparing for the "Waiting To Exhale" sequel. I'm thinking though; Whitney probably might not care to do another album anyway. There were some stories that she started working on some new music but who knows.

Drake has unveiled the release date for his new album; "Take Care" which will be in stores and online October 24. The album's first single will debut in July. Meanwhile Drake just released the buzz single; "Marvin's Room" which at the time of me posting this is a Trending Topic on twitter; which is always a big deal.
