Alicia Keys Rereleases Debut Album

To commemorate the 10th anniversary of "Songs In A Minor" her debut album released in 2001. Can you believe its been that long? I remember all the hype that surrounded it and how you couldn't escape her single; "Fallin'" which personally annoyed the hell out of me. The rereleased version of "Songs" will feature a collector's edition which new liner notes and all that good stuff. Alicia will also perform an intimate concert in June titled; "Piano & I" in New York. She will also take the stage at this year's BET Awards.

Monica is working on a new album; "New Life" which is supposed to be released this summer but I can't say I've heard much else about it lately. The singer did tweet(on twitter) that she has been in the studio with Chris Brown and Polow Da Don. Maybe that means a possible duet with Chris Brown or a song written and arranged by Chris and produced by Polow Da Don. The possibilities are infinite.

Jill Scott has chosen "So In Love" as the first single from her upcoming album; "The Light Of The Sun". The song features Anthony Hamilton and it recently leaked out but I haven't heard it yet. The single; "Shame" which leaked out awhile back featuring Eve is now just a buzz single even though a video has reportedly been shot for the song.

Jill Scott's new album will be in stores sometime this summer.
