Jennifer Lopez Denies Mariah Carey Feud
Though its been reported over the years, Jennifer Lopez has put an end to the rumors that she has been feuding with Mariah Carey. Actually Jennifer Lopez called into Nick Cannon's show, Mariah's husband and dispelled the rumors.
Many years ago there were rumors about the two singers feuding due to Mariah's ex-husband, Tommy Mottola having a hand in Jennifer Lopez's career. Many felt like Tommy was manipulating Jennifer into a Mariah wannabe and taking songs that were originally for Mariah and giving them to Jennifer. It's a long story but one that many people who keep up with gossip know all too well. Well I'm glad that the two have put whatever ill feelings they may have had towards one another behind them and moved on.
There's a rumor going around that Monica and Whitney Houston will likely duet for Monica's new album, "New Life" in stores this summer. It could likely happen since they are on the same label.
Personally I think a collabo between the two would be nice but save it for Whitney's album!
Kanye West has revealed that he will release a new album this summer. He also announced that his collaboration album with Jay-Z, "Watch The Throne" will be in stores this March and his video for the single, "All The Lights" will be released within' a week.
I always feel like when an artist attempts to release an album the following year or a few months later, I wonder is it because the current album has underperformed? We will wait and see as far as Kanye's new album is concerned. Despite all the great reviews, "My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy" has received, I just found myself not being able to get into it like that. Sucks!
