Throwback Video: Black Box - Strike It Up

"Strike It Up" is a song I remember very vividly because it was a song I heard back at home quite a bit. On the weekends when my mother would play music; when she wasn't playing her old vinyl records; she was listening to the radio. "Strike It Up" was one of those songs that got a lot of airplay so no wonder the song was a hit.

Unfortunately the singer of the song didn't get her just recognition to many years later. That singer; Martha Wash was the big, monstrous voice you heard on this track but she was replaced by a tall, thin, and model esque singer.
