Producer Spotlight: Soulshock & Karlin

I will have to say that the production duo of Soulshock & Karlin(the two standing up in the picture) have produced some of the best R&B songs in the world. They have worked with virtually every R&B artist known to man. Their discography is pretty extensive and for a time, a R&B album wasn't complete without their input.

They were born Carsten Schack and Kenneth Karlin out of Denmark. Carsten started out as a DJ who began remixing songs for the likes of MC Lyte and Queen Latifah. After a stint in New York, Carsten relocated back to his hometown of Denmark. He eventually linked up with a keyboard player, Kenneth Karlin and the rest is history.

Together the duo has produced various #1 singles and Karlin once dated singer Tracie Spencer. The duo produced some songs on her last album, "Tracie".
