Mariah Carey Still Mum On Pregnancy Rumors!

Every couple of months or so there are the rumors that Mariah Carey is with child. Well the rumor has reared its head again. This time her husband, Nick Cannon dodges the question and then some. Red more about that below as well as a little news on Mariah's new album and Ciara finally settling on a release date for her new album.

Mariah Carey and Nick Cannon have remained mum since rumors began to swirl that singer was pregnant, now one report claims the R&B star is expecting.

According to Radar Online, Mariah is four months pregnant. The website reported the couple is not yet publicly talking about the reported pregnancy.

Another Radar source claimed that Nick has been sharing the news only with close friends.

A rep for Mariah was not immediately available for comment when contacted by Access Hollywood on Wednesday.

As previously reported on Access, on Monday, Nick dodged the pregnancy question on his New York radio show, saying, “I’ve said it before and I’ll say it time and time again – when my wife feels like talking about whatever she wants to talk about, you will hear it directly from her.”

Mariah stirred speculation by appearing very pregnant on stage in Brazil this past weekend.

Mariah Carey Plans New Album!

According to Showbiz411.com, Mariah Carey has enlisted the assistance of Broadway composer Marc Shaiman (Hairspray) on her new studio album, which is being produced by Randy Jackson. A five-time Oscar nominee, Shaiman has a history of collaborating with some of the best recording artists, including Bette Midler, recently, on the single "The Greatest Ears in Town," inspired by the late producer Arif Mardin on the album All My Friends Are Here.

Writes Showbiz411.com: "Mariah told me in an email last week that Shaiman was her favorite collaborator since her days with Walter Afanasieff. 'He's so talented and can hear the chords in my head.'"

This is not the first the theater world is hearing about ties with Carey. An autobiographical Broadway musical, which could potentially star Leona Lewis as Carey, is reportedly in the works.

Ciara Finally Sets Release Date For New Album!

UrbanBridgez.com has exclusively learned Ciara’s new album ‘Basic Instinct‘ has been pushed back yet again! We first broke news in July that the new album had been pushed back from the original August date to October 5th! Now we’ve learned the album will now be released in late October on the 19th! However we’re also told the final date may end up being October 26th! An official announcement on the new date is expected from Jive/LaFace later this week!

Why the push-back? Ciara is gearing up for massive promotion for her highly anticipated new release, including shooting two new videos for the next two singles ‘Gimme Dat’ & Speechless.’ Not to mention various live performances and TV specials scheduled around the release!
