Music Feed: When Nas Attacks

During the height of Nas' beef with Jay-Z; Nas not only took shots at Jay but a host of other rappers in the process. Over the last few years; Nas has become quite outspoken and controversial in his beliefs. Huge debates have arisen over his choice of words and later album titles like "Hip Hop Is Dead" and "Nigger".

Surely Nas has paid his dues and is one of the most talented rappers in the game. His debut album; "Illmatic" released in 1994 is considered a classic. So surely he has the right to speak out on things since he is a seasoned vet. Speaking out doesn't always equate to being right. Often times one can be misunderstood or just plain bitter.

Nas showed no signs of remorse when he went on brief tirade during the release of 2001's "Stillmatic". With "Ether" being the ultimate dis record; Nas was back on top and really feeling himself.

Foxy Brown
Nas opted to not reunite with The Firm and didn't want to appear on the track; "Too Much For Me" which featured Foxy. He also felt like Foxy could easily be replaced by another female rapper.

Redman
Nas ridiculed Redman for appearing on "Dirrty" with Christina Aguilera.

Cam'ron

Nas called Cam "wack"!

Kelis
It was definitely cheaper to keep her!

Memphis Bleek
Nas attacked Memphis Bleek on his track; "Nastradamus".
