News Flash: Eve Plans To Release A New Album!
Hello everyone! Here's a question! What exactly happened to Eve? Here was a rapper who was pretty much on top of the world and her popularity was starting to rival Foxy Brown and Lil' Kim. I know Eve tried her hand at acting like in 'Barbershop' and 'Barbershop 2' but after that I always read about her dating or marrying some billionaire. I read that Eve has left Interscope Records which I swore she left a long time ago. An album in 2010? Maybe. Maybe not. I won't hold my breath.
One artist who is supposed to release an album this year but is looking like she won't is Monica. Her long delayed album, 'Still Standing' has been pushed back again. This time the album is going for a March 23 release date. The response to the planned first single, 'Everything' has been overwhelming. So what's the problem? Probably J Records. They need to go ahead and get behind this song and push it and stop playing.
We can definitely expect plenty of albums this year as far as I know. The only problem is half of them will be pushed back a few times fore they hit the store shelves. Some of these albums have hit the internet though for example Usher's 'Raymond vs. Raymond'. The album has suffered many pushbacks and the latest one is March 2. Let's see how long this will stick.
Another album you can all look forward to is 'Loveking' by The Dream. He recently stated on his twitter account that the album is done and ready for purchasing. Now in reality its not ready for purchasing but he is saying you should intend to save some money to buy it. It's that good huh? I know Dream was filling a bit stifled when his most recent album didn't receive any award nominations. And I remember someone saying on a message board that ever since that was said; his album has showed up on a bunch of year end lists from critics.
