Dru Hill Returns With New Album, Reality Show!

The new Dru Hill album and reality show have been in the works for a few years actually. Over the years Sisqo had a solo career and starred in a couple of other reality shows. The other member attempted to jump start solo careers or work behind the scenes. Now the group is back together and you can read below about that as well as Beyonce's performance and a sex tape from a Day 26 member!

A reunited Dru Hill is one step closer to releasing a new album.

According to Billboard, the group has signed a deal with Kedar Entertainment, where they plan to release the anticipated album "InDRUpendence Day" April 13.

Joining Joe, Chico DeBarge, Ginuwine and Algebra at Kedar Entertainment, Dru Hill will kick things off with the album's lead single "Love M.D."

As previously reported, Dru Hill is also moving forward with plans to air a reality series titled "Sweat's Platinum House," with award-winning singer/producer Keith Sweat.

Set to air on Centric later this year, "Sweat's Platinum House" will chronicle Dru Hill's return to the studio and interactions between members Sisqo, Nokio, Jazz and the group's latest addition Tao.
Beyonce Added To Haiti Tribute Concert!
Beyoncé has been added to the bill for the "Hope for Haiti Now: A Global Benefit for Earthquake Relief" telethon, airing Friday at 8 p.m. ET/PT, upping the star wattage for the already massive event.

The singer will join husband Jay-Z, Rihanna and U2's Bono and The Edge in London to help raise funds for Haiti in the wake of last week's devastating 7.0-magnitude earthquake. Justin Timberlake, Bruce Springsteen, Taylor Swift, Mary J. Blige and more artists will also perform during the two-hour telecast.

George Clooney, who helped organize the event with MTV Networks, will helm the proceedings in Los Angeles, while Wyclef Jean and CNN's Anderson Cooper will join in from New York and Haiti, respectively.

A number of notable acts have confirmed their participation for the telethon, which will air commercial-free across MTV, VH1, ABC, CBS, NBC, FOX, CNN, BET, the CW, HBO, CMT, PBS, TNT, Showtime, Comedy Central, Bravo, E! Entertainment Network, National Geographic Channel, Oxygen, G4, Centric, Current TV, Fuse, MLB Network, Epix, Palladia, SoapNet, Style, Discovery Health and Planet Green. Canada's CTV, CBC Television, Global Television and MuchMusic also will air "Hope for Haiti," as will BET International, CNN International, National Geographic and MTV Networks International, making the event available in 640 million homes worldwide.
Day 26 Singer Releases Sex Tape!
Day 26 singer/songwriter Willie Taylor is ready to make Valentine's Day a special day for music fans. Set to release his anticipated mixtape, titled "Sex Tape," Taylor hopes the release will become "a soundtrack to your bedroom".

"I am extremely excited about this project as the main purpose of the mixtape is to showcase my abilities as a songwriter and bring awareness to the launch of my label Noivak Music Group," says Taylor. "I want this album to be known as the soundtrack to your bedroom."

Set to be released on his official website NoivakMusic.com, "Sex Tape" features production from B. Simms, Steve Huff, Fred "The Champ" Crawford and Rex.

"I personally feel that Willie has officially changed the standard of a "mixtape". This will be played for years to come," adds Screwface, Manager for DAY26.

Two songs from the forthcoming release have been burning up music related sites online, including the sexy cut "Knock It Out The Park" and "Sex Conversation."

"Sex Tape" is due for release February 14, 2010 via Noviak Music Group.
