Kid Cudi Kicked Off Lady GaGa Tour!

Kid Cudi is weird to me. Ever since I saw this video of him I knew he was a strange one; nothing against him personally. I did read about his alleged punching a fan out and I'm not surprised!

I feel like the little buzz Cudi had has pretty much come and gone and he didn't capitalize off of it properly.

Kid Cudi -- the guy who sings that "Day 'N Nite" song -- has been officially dropped from the Lady Gaga tour in the wake of a brutal fan-punching incident.

Sources at Interscope Records confirm the rapper is "no longer" with the tour -- but wouldn't say if the decision had anything to do with YouTube footage showing Cudi punching fans in the front row of a concert in Vancouver this past weekend.

We're told Cudi will be replaced on the Gaga tour by Jason Derulo -- the guy who sings "Whatcha Say."

No comment from Lady Gaga's camp.

Mariah Carey Plans New Single!

A remix to "Up Out My Face" has been recorded with female rapper Nicki Minaj. Not only will the remix appear on the new album but a video for it will be shot alongside the video for "Angels Cry" Remix!

On Friday, Dec. 18, Mariah is scheduled to film the music video for "Up Out My Face" Remix in Los Angeles. Nick Cannon has also been tasked to direct the music video. The current script requires a marching band in the video.

Minaj joins an exclusive group of female collaborators featured on recorded Mariah songs: Whitney Houston ("When You Believe"), Mocha & Amil ("I Still Believe Remix"), Shawnna ("Loverboy Remix"), Missy Elliott ("Heartbreaker Remix"), Da Brat ("Heartbreaker Remix," "Honey Remix," "Loverboy," etc.) and Kelly Price ("Through The Rain Remix").

The release date for "Up Out My Face" Remix featuring Nicki Minaj is not yet known at this time.

When will Mariah get it right? This whole era for 'Memoirs Of An Imperfect Angel' has been a mess. When 'Obsessed' didn't hit #1 out the gate, it was labeled a buzz single. Eventually the song peaked in the top 10 and went platinum. After that Mariah's remake of 'I Want To Know What Love Is' flopped and the video was scrapped. Now 'H.A.T.E.U.' was chosen as the second single and even though it is a favorite among many people, the song is underperforming on the charts. On top of that a lot of people don't like the video but I do!

Nelly Furtado Returns!

Nelly Furtado has announced that the official release date of her fourth English album will be May 25th, 2010.

She also opened up a little about the vibe of the record, comparing it to her debut critically-acclaimed ‘Whoa, Nelly!’.

“I think just generally it’s still going to be pop but I want it to have a more light energy. Sort of like my first album, but not sonically, more in a spiritual sense… more like my first album.

“I don’t know if it’s going to be the same sound [as Loose] but I have worked a little bit with Timbaland who produced that album so it might have some of the same fun and energy, but not like exactly the same.”
Also currently attached to the album are Ryan Tedder and Salaam Remi.
