Jim Jones Pleads Guilty To Assault!

Hello all! Do you all recall the little fight Jim Jones had with Ne-Yo's friend? Well Jim Jones finally has his day in court for the little melee. Jennifer Hudson prepares for Christmas and Eminem goes head to head with 50 Cent. For more info on these stories. Read below!

Rapper Jim Jones admitted Monday to punching a friend of Ne-Yo's in the face in a Louis Vuitton store during a scuffle that erupted as the R&B crooner was browsing.

Jones pleaded guilty to a misdemeanor assault charge in his Dec. 22 dustup with Jayvon Smith in the luxury-goods retailer's Fifth Avenue store in Manhattan. Jones, 33, was sentenced to time served - the few hours he was in custody after turning himself in to police in January.

The fight unfolded in front of holiday shoppers in the store, which sits opposite Tiffany's flagship on Fifty-Seventh Street.

Defense lawyer Scott Leemon had previously said Jones didn't start the fight. Leemon said Monday the rapper pleaded guilty because he didn't want to risk probation - and potential touring restrictions - if convicted.

Leemon declined to comment on what started the fight. Ne-Yo told the Los Angeles-based radio station Power 106 in February that Jones and Smith "have had drama in the past."
I remember this story about Ne-Yo's friend and Jim Jones getting into a little scuffle or whatever. Anyway Jim Jones had been saying how the guy was Ne-Yo's boyfriend. Ha! You never know!

Jennifer Hudson Stars In Christmas Special!
Former "American Idol" finalist Jennifer Hudson is coming home to television for the holidays with a primetime music special slated to air on ABC.

"Jennifer Hudson: I'll Be Home for Christmas" will air in December and feature the singer-actress reliving her childhood holidays with musical performances filmed in locations specific to her youth: the Oscar winner's church, music academy and other Chicago locations.

"I can't wait to hear her take on Christmas classics as we discover what she loves about her hometown of Chicago," said Vicki Dummer, senior vp alternative series, specials and late-night at ABC Entertainment Group.

The special will be produced by Tall Pony Prods., with Tony Eaton serving as exec producer and David Mallet on board as director.
I think its nice that Jennifer has a Christmas special this year. It is something that you don't see a lot of other singers doing.

Eminem Preps Follow Up To Relapse!
During an interview with DJ Tony Touch on his Shade45 radio station this week, Eminem revealed that his "Relapse 2" album, slated for a late 2009 release, is already finished and that fans can expect a rap showdown with protƩgƩ 50 Cent, among other details.

"It's pretty much finish as far as recording. All that's left to do is mix," Eminem, born Marshall Mathers, said. "We've kind of done it [rap face-offs] on other records, but not like to the extent on this one," he added about battling 50 on the set.

Eminem also said that, comparatively speaking, this album is much different than the first "Relapse," which sold 608,000 copies in the United States its first week and has moved 1,461,000 units to date, according to Nielsen SoundScan. "The overall basis of the record is going to be more emotionally driven. On the last record I was concentrated more on just spitting," he said, stating that on "Relapse," he "had to get it all out of my system -- I wanted to prove to myself I can do it again.
