Beyonce Sued!

Pop diva Beyonce Knowles and teen clothing giant Abercrombie & Fitch are going to war over who is fiercer.

In a federal suit, the Ohio-based chain of popular mall stores sued Knowles, saying they already own the name of her upcoming scent.

The grammy-winning singer announced this week that she had teamed up with fragrance maker Coty, which launched the celebrity scent craze in 2002 when Jennifer Lopez' Glow racked up $100 million in sales in one year.

Knowles' perfume, named after her onstage alter ego, Sasha Fierce, is supposed to launch next spring. Her line of clothing, also called Sasha Fierce, just debuted in department stores.

The superstar singer described her new scent as "an alluring and sophisticated fragrance; one that's refelective of my inner power."

Abercrombie said the whole thing stinks.

Beyonce is always getting sued for something. When she's not taking someone's songs, she's taking their fashion and fragrance ideas. Not surprised at all.

SWV Plans To Return!

Popular 90’s R&B girl girl group SWV have confirmed that they are planning on making a comeback with a new album in the works.

Group member Cheryl “Coko” Clemons confirmed that the group have officially reunited and will begin recording their new album in the beginning of October.

SWV have sold roughly 10 million albums, and are best known for their # single “Weak”, as well as their smash hit “Right Here” which samples Michael Jackson’s “Human Nature”. They’re currently ranked at #100 on the top 500 pop artists of the past 25 years.

How many times have we heard this story? I remember hearing SWV had toured with some older school R&B acts but Coko can't seem to decide if she wants to pursue gospel music or R&B music.

Mary J. Blige Speaks Out On Kanye West!

Mary J. Blige says she doesn't know what to think of Kanye West, who famously interrupted Taylor Swift at the MTV Video Music Awards Sept. 13.

"People are going through more than what you can imagine. I love Kayne, and I wish the best for him," she told Usmagazine.com Wednesday at a Gucci party in NYC.

Of West (whose mother Donda died two years ago following a "cosmetic procedure"), Blige said, "I pray that whatever's going on with him, he deals with it."

Blige, 38, also opened up about Whitney Houston's revealing interview with Oprah Winfrey. During the chat, Houston admitted she was drug free but said, "I can only take today, one day at a time."

Blige — who was once addicted to drugs and alcohol — told Us she is "so super happy for Whitney. She's freeing herself of everything that holds her back by speaking and helping a multitude of women.
