Mario's "D.N.A." Album Pushed Back Again!
Another one bites the dust. You know once an album gets an official release date, it is likely that the date will be changed once and sometimes numerous times. It seems like to me J Records is always screwing Mario up when he has a hit single on his hands. They wait and not strike while the iron is hot. When will they learn? Maybe once he's on a label better suited for him.

Mario's New Album Pushed Back!
It looks like Mario is the latest victim of push back fever, with his fourth studio album "D.N.A." getting a new release date of October 13, 2 weeks later than last scheduled.I'm interested in knowing the meaning behind this title.
This is the second time now that the album has been pushed back.
Things are looking good for the 22-year-old though, with his single "Break Up" now sitting at #2 on the R&B/Hip-Hop singles chart, and shooting up to #20 on the Hot 100.
Drake Re-Releases Mixtape!
As originally reported on Billboard.com earlier this summer, Drake has finally cleared the samples to his highly-acclaimed "So Far Gone" mixtape and will re-release it on September 15th, 2009, confirms a rep at Universal Motown.I've never heard the "So Far Gone" mixtape but I've read enough good things about it to be interested and not be interested. I have jumped on the Drake train somewhat but not fully. I do "Best I Ever Had", "Successful" and "Uptown" among others.
The rapper told MTV.com today (August 14) that the album will feature most of the original songs off the album -- including "Best I Ever Had," which currently sits at No. 3 on the Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs chart and "Successful" featuring Trey Songz, No. 5 on the same tally. One exception will be a new track, "Fear," that will appear on the end of the revamped set. Drake told the music site that the last verse on "Fear" will be the lead to his upcoming debut, "Thank Me Later," stating that "the last line of the third verse is going to be the first line on my album." "Thank Me Later" is slated for a late 2009 release.
Leaked Chris Brown Song Not Official Single!
A rep for Brown, however, tells Billboard.com that "Changed Man" is not his comeback single and that the song was "recorded some time ago -- a long time ago, actually." The rep could not say whether the track was recorded after Brown assaulted ex-girlfriend Rihanna, whom he appears to be addressing in the lyrics:Of course once these songs leak out, their never intended to be first singles(their just buzz singles) when they know good and well they do be. Now had the reaction to the song been positive, Jive Records would of said "Oh yes this is the first single!".
"I'm a changed man, because you mean that much to me," sings Brown on the mid-tempo ballad's chorus. "And I don't want to be done/I'm doing all that I can, and everybody hates Chris/They can never understand."
