LeToya Unhappy With Management, Label!
Singer/actress LeToya has reportedly switched her management to MBK management with Jeff Robinson, who is the long time manager of R&B superstar Alicia Keys.I'm surprised to hear LeToya was unhappy with "Not Anymore". I mean it wasn't my favorite song from her and it took awhile to catch on for me but the song was a hit for her. As far as the other leaked material I heard, I wasn't a fan of and I just wasn't really that interested in LeToya this time around.
The singer actually inked the deal a few weeks before her sophomore album "Lady Love" dropped, but the news has only been made official now after LeToya suddenly appeared on MBK's official website with a glowing biography and ads for her album.
The news comes after LeToya expressed her disappointment with the lack of promotion she's received from label Capitol during a live Ustream chat on August 24th, the eve of her album release.
It was also rumoured that LeToya was unhappy with her first single "Not Anymore", which was released upon insistence her original manager Terry Ross.
Her sophomore album "Lady Love" is expected to debut at about #5 on the Billboard charts, with an estimated 25-30k .
Whitney Houston Wal-Mart Bound!
Contrary to rumors that Whitney's I Look to You CD would not be available in Walmart stores, the company has issued the following statement:Whitney Houston is about to slay on the charts! I can't wait to see how her album's first week sales will be.
"Walmart will in fact be selling Whitney's new album in all stores beginning Monday, August 31. We're excited about Whitney's new album! Walmart.com had unexpected tech issues, some CD pages are not showing up. We're working on it now. Whitney will be online & in Walmart stores."
