Those were some of the initial comments I read in response to the story regarding Nia Long and her feelings towards Beyonce's acting. Read on about it!

Nia Long Disses Beyonce?

“If you’re a singer not an actress, you should sing. If you’re a rapper, you should rap,” is what actress Nia Long told the U.K. magazine Pride.

In the July issue cover story written by Jessica Huie, the ‘Are We There Yet?’ star was also asked what she thought about Beyonce Knowles’ performance in ‘Obsessed.’

“I didn’t see ‘Obsessed,’ so I can’t comment, but it’s just not about how talented you are anymore. It’s about, ‘How much box-office revenue will this person generate?’ When you see certain people – we won’t name names – they just don’t have the skill, and no one in their team has said, ‘You need acting classes,’” Long replied.

Beyonce's acting in "Obsessed" was absolutely atrocious. Someone like Taraji P. Henson[of "Baby Boy"] would of nailed the role. I had been telling some of my friends that.

Akon A Deadbeat Dad?

One of Akon’s baby mommas is suing for child support. Sara Coleman and the rapper/singer/pop star have a six month old child together. According to Coleman, her lawyer has been trying to reach him to serve him with court papers.

His lawyer sent in a statement to TMZ saying:

“Akon has taken responsibility and has been extremely cooperative and proactive in handling this private matter. Paternity was only established just over 30 days ago. Since the case was filed outside of Georgia jurisdiction, where he is a legal resident, Akon is currently in the process of engaging counsel in California and will continue to handle this matter in a timely manner.”

First of all, Akon you have way too many kids. Second, you make way too much money to be a deadbeat dad. Third, a friend of mine said child support is "ignorant". What do you think?

Jennifer Lopez Plots New Album!

Song writing duo Aplus (Antea & Anesha) are currently working with diva Jennifer Lopez on her upcoming album and greatest hits, having penned two of her recently leaked tracks "One Love" and "Hooked On You". The pair have both been tweeting from the recording studio, revealing that Jennifer is working with hitmaker Jim Jonsin. Check it out below, and thanks to El Chiko Kevo for this.

I like Jennifer Lopez as a singer. I mean no she isn't the best singer but I just like good music no matter who it comes from. I can't say I'm that excited about the new album though, not until I hear some more music.
