Usher Has A Monster On His Hands

Music Biz:
Usher Reveals New Album Title!

Mariah Carey is not the only one making album announcements. Usher also revealed the title of his new album on Wednesday. The R&B heartthrob has titled his sixth studio effort Monster. It will be released this fall, according to a statement from his publicist. Usher has collaborated with Jermaine Dupri and Ne-Yo on Monster, the follow-up to 2008’s platinum-selling Here I Stand.
The new album title is sorta reminding me of "Thriller". Let's hope this "Monster" is as monster as it claims to be. A lot of people were let down with "Here I Stand" which I thought was a really good album in my opinion. No it wasn't "Confessions" but it represented where Usher was at that time of his life.

Eminem Set To Debut At #1!
Four and a half years after he released his last studio album, Eminem is headed for his fifth straight No. 1 debut next week on the Billboard 200. The artist's "Relapse" (Shady/Aftermath/Interscope) could sell as many as 650,000 copies in its first week, based on projections from industry prognosticators.
Eminem debuting at #1 was pretty much a no-brainer. I mean who didn't see this coming. Congrats..I guess! lol

The other dates have gone back to March 2010.An email from Ticketmaster and promoter AEG Live states: "Due to the sheer magnitude of the “This Is It” concerts at the O2 Arena promoters and producers AEG Live and Kenny Ortega, Michael’s directorial partner and creative collaborator have elected to move back a few of the opening shows in order to meet the challenges presented by such a massive and technically complex show.
Here we go again! When it comes to Michael Jackson, things never go according to plan.

Beyonce Unleashes New DVD!
Beyonce is ready to unleash an anticipated DVD collection titled "Above and Beyonce" but, there's an extra surprise under the wrapper.Set for release June 16, Beyonce's DVD collection, featuring seven videos including "Single Ladies (Put A Ring On It)," will also feature a disc of remixes. The remix disc, featuring seven songs, will include Beyonce's collaboration with Hip-Hop impresario Kanye West on "Ego".
I remember hearing that this DVD was in the works. The good thing about being a Beyonce fan is she gives you plenty of memorabilia to collect from her which is always nice. I wish more artists would do things like this.
