A source tells Star magazine, “Even though Beyonce’s real engagement ring is insured, she doesn’t always feel comfortable wearing such a valuable stone.”Beyonce publicly displayed her wedding ring for the first time on the redcarpet for Fashion Rocks at Radio City Music Hall in NYC. Photogs and journalists went gaga over her bling, so we don’t blame her being super cautious.

Canadian(Ontario)-born R&B singer Keisha Chante has been confirmed to play Aaliyah in a much-anticipated biopic setfor release next year.According to the National Post, the ink is dry on Chante's contract to portray the R&B singer in theas-yet-titled biopic.Chronicling the life of the R&B star that brought magic to both the screen and the studio, Aaliyah'sbiopic will attempt to cover the singer's journey up to her untimely death in 2001.While a release date has not been set,the Aaliyah biopic is rumored to be hitting theaters mid-2009.
