Left Eye's Legacy Lives On

She may be gone but she is definitely not forgotten. The legacy of TLC member Left Eye will forever live on. On January 27, 2009 Left Eye will release a new album featuring unreleased songs from her 'Supernova' album. Contributing to the album are Bobby Valentino and Missy Elliott among others.

After a year long effort into the making of what we thought Lil Kim’s album should be, it looks as though it will never happen. As you may have heard, Trackmasters/Brookland Media have filed a suit against Lil Kim. Before people start to assume things, Let me clear a few things up. Kim is a kool chick but she really does’nt know what she wants to do with her career. While working on this latest album, it was clear that Kim did’nt know the direction she wanted to go in. She wanted to work with this person, then
she didnt want to work with this person. She wanted to do this type of album, then she wanted to do another type of album. It was clear that the album was gonna take a long time to materialize and now it’s come to this. I really had high hopes in giving the streets another “Hardcore” album but it looks like that may be dead now.”
Lil' Wayne ReReleases!
Lil Wayne's "Tha Carter III" is handily the best-selling album of 2008, but the rapper has plans to make it even bigger. The set will be re-released with all brand new songs, Wayne told MTV, although Universal says there are no details confirmed at deadline.
Soulja Boy Is Back!
Soulja Boy Tell'em, best known for the hit single "Crank That (Soulja Boy)" single from his 2007 debut, "SouljaBoytellem.com," returns Dec. 16 with his sophomore set."iSouljaboytellem" (Collipark Music/Interscope) is led by the single "Birdwalk," which will be serviced to radio this week. An accompanying video is slated to debut shortly afterward.The new set features production from Mr. Collipark, Polow Da Don and Soulja Boy himself. Other tracks on the album include "Yamaha Mama" featuring Sean Kingston and "Turn My Swag On," which will be released virally.
