Alicia Keys Leads AMA's!
Alicia Keys leads the nominees for the 2008 American Music Awards with five, including artist of the year, favorite female artist -- pop or rock music, favorite female artist -- soul/rhythm & blues music and favorite album in pop or rock music and soul/R&B music for "As I Am."Voting for the awards is done online via ABC.com's American Music Awards website. The AMAs will be held Nov. 23 at the Nokia Theatre in Los Angeles. They will be aired live on ABC and hosted by Jimmy Kimmel.
Beyonce's Double Whammy!
Beyonce has revealed that her new album, "I Am" will be a double disc. The album will consist of ballads and dance floor gems. The album will be in stores on November 18.

Ludacris' Denied!
The New York Post is reporting that Chris "Ludacris" Bridges was denied entry into one of 12 secret societies at Yale University after mistaking it for a literary club.The rapper-actor reportedly contacted heads of the exclusive organization, Manuscript, in an attempt to join the group.Luda's rep allegedly made a call "under the mistaken idea that Manuscript is a literary society," insisting the artist would be "honored" to become a member under his real name. But the Atlanta native was denied - because members can only be elected with the consent of the current alumni. The source adds: "The club said absolutely not. It's just not done."
