Another one bites the dust. Avant's new self-titled debut for Capitol Records has been pushed back to December 9. The album is led by single, "When It Hurts". The album was originally scheduled to be released on October 28.

“We want our fans to know that replacing our sister Lisa is not, nor has it ever been an option. TLC will always consist of Chilli and T-Boz. Lisa’s spirit lives on through us. She cannot be replaced. We may collaborate with other artists, just like many other groups have done, but we will never add anyone to TLC. We love Lil Kim and have been talking about collaborating with her for awhile. We hope to have an opportunity to work with her in the near future.”Oprah Denies Mariah!
Oprah Winfrey is denying rumors that Mariah Carey cancelled an upcoming appearance on her talk show that was supposed to announce her alleged pregnancy. The singer was reportedly set to reveal that she and her husband Nick Cannon are expecting, but a rep for Oprah’s Harpo production company said there are no plans to have Mariah on the show either now or in the immediate future.Also, a rep for Carey denies that she’s even pregnant.Left Eye Lives!
Late rapper Lisa “Left Eye” Lopes of TLC fame will have her final solo album released on November 11 through Mass Appeal Entertainment.The 12-track project, titled “Eye-Legacy,” will feature collaborations with Missy Elliot, Chamillionaire, Lil Mama, and Bobby Valentino.The first single, “Let’s Just Do It,” featuring Missy.The songs on “Eye-Legacy” featuring unreleased vocals from Lopes.Previously, the TLC star released a solo album, Supernova, that was only released in Europe and a failed union with Death Row as a solo artist–under the name N.I.N.A.–resulted in no material being released.Toni Braxton's New Deal!
Toni Braxton (Dancing With The Stars) has just signed a deal with Atlantic Records. The 6-time Grammy winner is gathering songs to record her new album while competing on ABC's Dancing With The Stars with partner Alec Mazo. Atlantic Records hopes to have new music from Braxton out by early 2009.Brandy is back! Her new album, "Human" will be in stores November 11.
