Foxy Upset, Pretty Ricky Returns, T-Pain

My favorite female rapper (and one of my favorite artists of all time) Foxy Brown is mad at label Koch Records for the distribution and mastering of her latest album, "Brooklyn's Don Diva" in stores now. Apparently Koch and former manager Chaz Williams made a lot of decisions without Foxy's approval. Foxy's lack of involvement in the album resulted in some of Fox's verses being reused on certain songs. On another note, Foxy being the trooper she is nows plans to re-release the album as early as next month complete with 5 new songs and promotion to boot. I am glad Foxy is taking the iniative to correct this careless mistake instead of wilding out like the old Foxy would do.

Famed group Pretty Ricky returns with their 3rd album aptly-titled, "80s Babies". I'm assuming the title is a take on the decade they were born in. I am too an 80s baby! Haha! Anyway the album will be preceded by first single, "Cuddle Up" which features new member 4Play aka the new Pleasure. If you recall original band member Pleasure left the group the pursue a solo career. I guess that was in the cards right. Look for the new album, "80s Babies" in stores August 26.

The BET awards will be taking place this year Tuesday, June 24. The usually three hour plus long telecast will feature performances from Nelly, Mary J. Blige, Usher, Mariah Carey, and Lil' Wayne. T-Pain leads the pack with 5 nominations. Usher will be opening the show this year! For the complete list of nominees and more, click here! I hope BET delivers with their awards telecast this year. The last few years have been utterly disappointing.

Rapper Big Boi insists his new album, "Sir Luscious Foot.." will be released in August. The album is just one of many albums being released this August. Can we expect a Super Tuesday in August? The music releases for the month of August are the subject of the latest poll. "What August album(s) are you looking forward to most?" Sound off! p.s.
