Solange's Sol, Mariah's Singles, Janet Tours

Solange Knowles will release her Geffen debut, "Sol-Angel and The Hadley Street Dreams" on August 26.The album is preceded by the Pharrell Williams produced, "I Decided". The album sports collaborations with Lil' Wayne, Marsha Ambrosius of Floetry, Bilal, Raphael Saadiq, Q-Tip, Mark Ronson, Cee-Lo, and Jack Splash. Wow! Solange has quite a few collaborations on this album. I am looking forward to hearing this album and I hope she does deliver the goods.

Mariah Carey will have the #1 album in the US this week with her latest, "E=MC2". The singer revealed that the album's 3rd single will be "Love Story" followed by "I Stay In Love" and finally "Migrate". Carey's new love interest Nick Cannon will appear in the video for new single, "Bye Bye" and "Love Story". I'm left to wonder how does Nick Cannon land these women? He has to be one of corniest people in the industry to me but apparently not.

Janet Jackson has revealed that her long rumored tour will kick off on September 11. This will be the superstar's first tour since 2001's "All For You". Subsequent plans to tour fell flat after Jackson's last two albums bombed. Current album, "Discipline" is still on the charts but they are promoting it much at all. Now there is news that "Can't Be Good" written by Ne-Yo will be the next single and will ship to radio on June 9.

Radio shock jock Wendy Williams hasn't let the recent allegations of her husband philandering ways stop her money train. The radio host is said to get her own syndicated daytime talk show to appear on the Fox network. The show would be very much like the "The Wendy Williams Experience" ranging in topics from health to you guessed it.........GOSSIP! This should be interesting!
