There's a whole lotta "Love In This Club" these days as Usher's newest single continues to dominate on radio. The singer is planning to release his new album, "Here I Stand" on May 27. The album sports collaborations with Polow Da Don, Jermaine Dupri, Dre & Vidal, The-Dream, and Tricky Stewart. The second single is being touted as "Moving Mountains" which leaked online eons ago. Confirmed tracks for the album include: What's A Man To Do, Before I Met You, Here I Stand, and Forever. Catch Usher on the newest issue of Vibe magazine and he will perform at the 2008 BET Awards.
Foxy Brown will begin recording her upcoming untitled reality show for VH1 as soon as she walks out of prison. The show will follow the rapper as she begins to piece her life back together after her 8 month stint in jail. The rapper will also be gearing up to release her new album, "Brooklyn's Don Diva" on May 13. The album is preceded by the first single, "Star Cry". The album sports collaborations from AZ, Kanye West, Swizz Beats, Lil' Mo, Mavado, and more.
Robin Thicke wants to give us "Something Else" and hopefully that something else is more hits and an album as good as his last one, "The Evolution of Robin Thicke". The new album due July 1 is preceded by the first single, "Magic". At presstime there are no featured guests on this album but maybe that will change in the coming weeks. Most artists are always working and tweaking their albums up to the last minute of the album's initial release date.
The new album from singer turned Academy Award winning actress Jennifer Hudson is due September 30. The untitled album was rumored to be reworked in favor of a more melodic, uptempo, and electronica flavor that is currently dominating music right now. Hudson can soon be seen in the upcoming movie, "Sex & The City" and she will also be featured on the movie's soundtrack.
You like "Hard Candy"? Well singer Madonna does and that's why she named her newest album that due in stores April 29. The album is preceded by first single, "4 Minutes" featuring Justin Timberlake.
