This is a big week for singer Mariah Carey as she releases her new album, "E=MC2" in stores today. While the singer is making a slew of appearances throughout, Mariah is also MTV's Artist of the Week which explains for the segments which will be appearing on MTV all week long.

R&B singer Monica is returning this August with her new album entitled, "Lessons Learned". The album sports collaborations from R. Kelly, Ne-Yo, Babyface, Bryan Michael Cox, and Polow Da Don. Monica has definitely had her share of trials and tribulations so a title like "Lessons Learned" is very befitting for her. There are rumors going around that Monica may tour with Brandy this year since both artists are to release albums this year. Singer Brandy recently inked a record deal with Epic Records. Monica and Brandy have both expressed interest in working together again and touring may be just the thing these two need to really reignite their careers.

R&B singer Ciara keeps spreading the word on her new album, "Fantasy Ride" due this September. The first single, "High Price" features Ludacris while the upcoming album sports collaborations with Ne-Yo, Polow Da Don, The-Dream, Tricky Stewart, Danja, and The Clutch. A few of the album tracks have been revealed as well and they are as follows: Iceberg, Darkroom, Imagine, Echo, Work, Fantasy, When I, and Don't Be Scared. Wow! Judging by these song titles, this album looks like it might be pretty interesting. I'm hoping so!

R&B singer Ashanti will release her oft-delayed album, 'The Declaration" on June 3. The album is preceded by first single, "The Way That I Love You" which is already a monster hit on radio! The album sports collaborations from Babyface, Pharrell, Jermaine Dupri, Mario Winans, Robin Thicke, and LT Hutton. Confirmed tracks for the album include: Crime, Good Good, Struggle, Girlfriend, Go Deeper, Crime, Mother, Untitled, The Declaration, Click, Things You Make Me Do, and more.

As previously reported singer Ashlee Simpson is pregnant but boyfriend/fiance Pete Wentz denies the allegations. I was starting to think this was a shotgun wedding being that she was pregnant and all but I guess not.
