Singer/Songwriter Johnta Austin who is known for writing hits for Janet Jackson and Mariah Carey was supposed to release his debut album, "Ocean Drive" eons ago but the album has been shelved indefinitely. Austin will now concentrate on a new album titled, "Love, Sex, & Religion". There is no word on when the album will be released. If you didn't know Johnta is the brother of famed producer Dallas Austin who has worked extensively with TLC.
Missy Elliott's new album is titled, "Phenomenal". The album due this summer will contain the singles, "Shake Ya Pom Pom" and "Ching-A-Ling". The album sports collaborations from Timbaland and Jazmine Sullivan (songwriter for Christina Milian). There is no word on what the official first single will be. I'm hoping with a song title such as "Phenomenal" the album lives up to its title.
Singer/Producer Robin Thicke who has worked with Mya, Usher, and Christina Aguilera has titled his new album, "Something Else". The new album will be due this June. In the meantime you can look for Robin Thicke to appear on new albums by Usher and Ashanti. Robin's last album was really good. I'm hoping this new one is just as good if not better. You all ready for a new Robin Thicke album?
