I'm not aware of where this video is from but maybe we will learn soon. If I'm not mistaken it looks like an upcoming special on MTV or something. It's always interesting to see an artist particularly someone of Mariah's stature in the studio. You get to see firsthand how the music is created and everything else that goes into recording a song and/or album.

"Hair Braider" was rumored to be a remake of Mario's "Braid My Hair" but it doesn't sound anything like Mario's song. Then again its been awhile since I heard that song from Mario so I'm not sure but judging from the lyrics, its pure R. Kelly.

Rappers Papoose and Remy Ma are getting married! There were rumors awhile back regarding their impending marriage but it was denied. Now Pap has come forward and spoke exclusively about their tight-lipped union which was originally set to take place on a yacht on April 27. Due to Remy Ma's recent guilty verdict from her aggravated assault trial, the rap duo plans to wed in prison. Isn't that something? Well I am happy for the couple. When their careers (or what's left of their perspective careers) flourish, at least they'll have each other.

Rapper Beanie Sigel is going back to the slammer! The rapper has been placed in jail for the next 3 months. This comes on the heels of the rapper violating several probationary requirements. A false urine sample and a random drug check discovered that Beans is taking controlled substances. Somewhere down the line I hope Beans and all the other rappers get their selves together and stay out of trouble. This is ridiculous! It's like trouble is just synonymous with rap stars. I think its time that rap becomes synonymous with music again.

Producer Lil' Jon has revealed that he is working on singer Monica's new album. It is the follow up to her 2006 album, 'The Makings Of Me" which spawned the singles, "Everytime The Beat Drops" and "A Dozen Roses". The new album is expected to hit stores later this year. Monica always says how there won't be a huge delay in between albums but there always is. Let's see if she will really be releasing a new album this year.
