Weekend Update: Lil' Mama Arrives

Controversial rapstress Khia who is known for her one hit, "My Neck, My Back" has expressed her disdain with Janet Jackson over their 2006 collaboration, "So Excited" awhile ago and is still going on about it 2 years later. Khia says "Janet will never be Mariah" and that "So Excited" should of been Jan's first single. I do agree with the latter statement but not the former. Give it a rest Khia! Meanwhile you can catch Khia and her crazy antics on VH1's "Miss Rap Supreme" premiering April 14.

Murder Inc crooner Lloyd returns with his new album, "Lessons In Love" on July 15. The album is preceded by first single, "How We Do It" featuring Ludacris. Other guests and production include Nelly, Polow Da Don, J-Lack (who did "Get It Shawty"), and The Dream. I have said before how much I liked Lloyd's last album. I am hoping this new one is just as good if not better.

Singer/Rapper Teyana Taylor who was featured on MTV's "My Sweet 16" will release her debut album, "From A Planet Called Harlem" on May 20. The first single, "Google Me Baby" hit the net eons ago. Taylor is down with Pharrell Williams of The Neptunes. I will look forward to hearing her album since I'm a big fan of The Neptunes.

Dirty South rapper Lil' Wayne will release his long-awaited album, 'The Carter 3" this May. Expect collaborations and production from Kanye West, Lil' Mama, Hurricane Chris, Alchemist(worked with Mobb Deep), and Swizz Beats. First single "Lollipop" featuring Static Major recently debuted on Billboard's Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Tracks chart.

Wanna know what Plies new song "Bust It Baby" means? Well the rapper describes the term as the "best female sexual experience". I was wondering for awhile what the song meant and now I know.
