News Flash: The Red Carpet Treatment

I watched the E! Pre-Grammy Telecast and I got to see a lot of artists on the red carpet hence the title; "The Red Carpet Treatment". I took the liberty of filling all those who didn't see the telecast who was on the red carpet and who shared what. Of course this is not everything but it covers the majority of things I saw.


Songwriter/singer NeYo announced he is in the studio working with troubled star, Lindsay Lohan on a new record.

R&B diva Keyshia Cole sported a brand new short black 'do. This woman is constantly changing her hairstyle.

R&B singer Musiq revealed that he is working on a new album due this April or May. Give or take.

Rapper Kanye West won 3 Grammy's during the show's pre-show (not sure which awards at presstime).

R&B singers Chaka Khan & Mary J. Blige won for Best R&B Duo for single, "Disrespectful". The song appears on Chaka's latest album, "Funk This" which won the Best R&B album. Go Chaka!

Alicia Keys won "Best R&B Song" for "No One". No surprise there!

The late R&B singer Gerald Levert won Traditional R&B album for "In My Songs".

R&B/Pop singer JoJo is working on her third album set to be released this fall.

Akon divulged about the perfect date opting for a dinner date and waiting 10 days before you could see his crib. Yeah right!

Pop singer Nelly Furtado sporting her new blond 'do revealed that she loves Alicia Keys and sings her songs in the shower. I love Nelly Furtado's personality! She's so cute!

Fergie reveal her and her upcoming husband don't walk the red carpet together but did divulge a few details on her impending wedding. Go Fergie Ferg!

Rapper Flo Rida who has the #1 single in the U.S. with "Low" will release his album, "Mail On Sunday" on March 18. Guests include Rick Ross, T-Pain, and Timbaland.

Controversial rapper Nas and his entourage appeared on the red carpet with his controversial album title, "Nigger" engraved on his shirt. I am appalled! lol

Rapper Ludacris revealed that he looks to a ladies shoes and toes on the red carpet.

Beyonce stormed the red carpet and commanded it like a true diva. Fans and onlookers went into a frenzy as Beyonce posed with sister Solange and was greeted by Ludacris. I don't see what the big fuss was though. I thought she looked just alright but then again it is Beyonce we are talking about!

Producer/rapper Will.I.Am. revealed that bandmember Fergie was very sweet and hard. He also spoke about his 2008 election opinions regarding his "Yes We Can' video endorsing presidental nominee Barack Obama.
