Who's Getting Pushed Back Now?

Daily Roundup: America's favorite bad girl Britney Spears was rushed to the hospital early Friday morning. The singer was reportedly under the influence of an unknown substance. Before Britney was even rushed to the hospital police were called to her Studio City home where a custodial dispute took place. Apparently Brit refused to give up her children during their visit with her which in part led to the dispute. Now it is being reported that Brit completely flipped out during her current hospital stay. She reacted violently and hysterical when under evaluation with doctors. There was even the mention of her being treated for possible bi-polar disorder. This is the latest in a series of attention grabbing headlines that has plagued Britney Spears.

The latest artists to succumb the infamous "pushback syndrome" are Mariah Carey and Ashanti. Originally due in March (or at least rumored to be) Mariah Carey's upcoming album has been pushed back. There has been no exact reason as to why but maybe it is for the better. Ashanti's oft-delayed "The Declaration" is no stranger to the "pushback syndrome" as her album has now been pushed back to a late spring/early summer release. With all these pushbacks this just goes to show these artists have to come harder.

Beyonce has saw her 50th copywritten lawsuit be dismissed by a woman who claims Beyonce stole her own hit "Baby Boy" from her when she sent (in) a demo to Mathew Knowles. Good riddance! If Beyonce was a tad bit more original she would (and could) avoid lawsuits like this.

Newlyweds Eddie Murphy & Tracey Edmonds plan to have a legal ceremony once they return to the states. With most union nuptials occuring overseas, it holds no legal significance here (in the US) therefore urging the sake of another legal ceremony.
