The Bad Boys Of R&B

Bad To The Bone
They are the baddest of the bad. What constitutes being a bad boy? There is a variety of reasons. What is it that women find so hard to resist about bad boys? Is it rebellion? Looks? Charm? Style? Swagger? It could be one of those qualities or all of the above. These bad boys are known throughout the world of R&B/Hip-hop/Pop. Sometimes their own personal lives overshadow their music. From infamous sex tapes to womanizing freaks, these are "The Bad Boys Of R&B" You've been warned.

R Kelly - Kelly has always lived a life shrouded in mystery until a few years ago. His marriage to a 15 year old Aaliyah was revealed and his controversial sex tapes leaked. He has a knack for writing songs about sex unlike any other musician known to man. He is a "Bad Man" indeed.

Bobby Brown - An O.G. (original gangsta) on the list has had a stormy 15 year relationship (that he still has) with Whitney Houston. He has personally battled just about every demon in Hollywood known to man. It takes "Every Little Step".

Ray J - At one point Ray J was as washed up as a dead fish on a beach. He rebounded quite nicely courtesy of an infamous sextape. His "One Wish" came true.

Pleasure (of Pretty Ricky) - Pleasure has a knack for singing Pretty Ricky's NC-17 rated songs with just the right amount of sleaze and sensuality. Call him "On The Hotline".

Spectacular (of Pretty Ricky) - Spectacular mesmerizes ladies (and men) with his grunty vocals, sexual prowess, and revealing acts in videos and performances. He can make it "Juicy".

NeYo - Desperate to shed his rather bizarre (and gay) image, NeYo took some steamy photos of himself in a compromising position with one of his background dancers. He has also turned up the volume in his songwriting singing suggestively and subliminally about sex. It's all "Because Of You".

Trey Songz - Aside from being the next (dare I say it) R. Kelly, Trey sings passionately and descriptively about sex. He is prone to sing exclusively about a woman's derriere. He has even developed a reputation for being a cocky womanizer who beds women by the millimeters. Where is his "Wonder Woman"?

Mario - On his new album, "Go" Mario's subject manner has grown especially on The Neptunes produced title track where he proclaims, "I wanna f*$* you like no other". He has also spoken out against his disdain towards NeYo. He's no longer "Just A Friend".
