Times Is Hard
I just read that Brandy is working with NeYo on her upcoming album. I don't know when the album comes out though. I'm not too excited about the collaboration. NeYo is the man to go to for hits though. I remember Pharrell Williams (The Neptunes) said he was working on Brandy's album. A lot of names have been attached to this project. We will just have to wait and see. Meanwhile Brandy will be headed to court in January. Brandy is charged with vehicular manslaughter (that left one woman dead). All those lawsuits against her have been combined into one. Considering how things might go there is a 50/50 chance Brandy might do some time or not. I know someone personally who was involved in the same situation. The only difference was they were drunk. They are currently serving three years in jail. You know what they say. Don't drink and drive!

Final Blow
In related news director John Singleton ("Poetic Justice", "Boyz N The Hood") was involved in a fatal car accident that has left one woman dead. The woman stepped in front of the car when he proceeded to stop. Police were called to the scene where Singleton cooperated. The woman was taken to the hospital where she was later pronounced dead. At first when I read this I thought he was dead. It is so unfortunate given the circumstances of this accident. There is a lesson to be learned for drivers and walkers. Drivers need to slow down (despite having the right of way or not) and walkers can't be just walking in the street. After all the woman was said to have been a jaywalker. See what I mean. This is crazy. My well wishes to the woman's family and John Singleton.

I just read that Christina Milian has signed to the Inc./Universal Motown Records. It is funny to me because I always wondered was Christina supposed to be where Ashanti is today (though Ashanti is not huge on the radar at this point) but I'm talking in terms of success. After all Christina worked with Ja (Rule) first on "Between Me & You" before Ashanti was apart of the Inc. (as far as I know). Christina will release her (first for the Inc.) album as soon as Nov 20th entitled, "Christina". Production comes in the form of Nate "Danja" Hills (Nelly Furtado), The Runners (Young Jeezy), Lil' Jon, and Cool & Dre just to name a few. The album and its release date has been added to the "Future CD Releases" section.

Doggone World
DMX is in hot water again! His house was raided and 12 distressed pitbulls were found. Officials also dug up the carcass of a deceased dog that had been burned. Wow! D is so passionate about dogs. I don't think he would harm them. D wasn't at home during the time of the raid. Thank God! It would of been a mess had he been. Officials also found a barrage of weapons. Rappers and weapons go to together like a hand and a glove!
