"Step Up" Under my "Umbrella" Ella Ella Eh

A recent article featuring Mary J Blige says she is 19,20 songs deep into recording the follow up to her triple platinum, "The Breakthrough" album. Blige won't divulge the producers she's working with just yet. While there is no release date set, I would assume an early 2008 release is possible.

Jay Z might be leaving Def Jam for Columbia. It would make sense since Beyonce is there and Rick Rubin(produced "99 Problems) wants him there. The arrival of JD on Island has shaken things up. If Jay does move to Columbia expect him to becomes Beyonce's manager soon afterwards. This will then mark the beginning of the end of Bee and Jay.

Cassie is set to star in "Step Up 2" the sequel to the hit "Step Up". I'm not sure of her role just yet. You can also see Cassie in Kanye West video, "Stronger". Cassie is also working on a new album and I think they should consider naming the album, "One More Chance". That is what she should be asking everyone for. She pretty much kicked herself out the game with those horrible performances late last year.

Danity Kane are still together. The group released a statement regarding the various rumors that have plagued them for the last few weeks. I'm starting to think this was all a publicity stunt.

Amanda Diva, MTV VJ and radio host has joined Floetry replacing Natalie who was the floacist. It will be interesting to hear the new Floetry. I thought Marsha was working on a solo album but Floetry is embarking on tour performing new songs from their upcoming album.

The Lox is signing to Hov and this move goes to show that "there is no place like home" because the members of The Lox careers have all stalled.

Rihanna is in talks to release her own line of Um-ber-rellas, ellas, ellas, eh eh that will appear in 5 different colors. Ri Ri is teaming up with Totes for the line to appear in the UK. Ri Ri's "Umbrella" has spent 10 weeks at #1 in the UK and 7 weeks here in the US.

It was the 45th annual Cincinnati Festival on July 27,2007 which used to be called the Jazz Festival which is now called the Macys Music Festival. No other than Mary J. Blige as the main headliner. People from part of CHICAGO,DETROIT,LOUIVILLE KENTUCKY,GEORGIA, AND JUST ABOUT ALL CITIES OF OHIO just to name a few of the biggest areas that the audience comes from. Tickets ranging from $45-$100. The night of around 11pm the audience received a special anouncement from Mary herself that "she could not make it and she will see us next year" Can u say PISSED OUT and to set a cherry on top of it people turned out in the masses even in the rain. When the announcement was made a WHOLE bunch of people exited the stadium

Oh that is unfortunate! I know things like that happens and I would be very upset as well.
