Myspace Profile Showcase - Interview

The month of June brings a new feature to CSV entitled "Myspace Profile Showcase". I enjoyed my first two blogger interviews tremendously. It set the stage as far as me conducting more interviews. I decided to profile some individuals I felt worthy of you all getting to know. They are not just ordinary people. They are people with talent and goals. Each individual that will be featured here is from the Myspace community hence the title "Myspace Profile Showcase". Each individual has conducted an interview with yours truly. Each interview was conducted either by phone or e-mail. At the end of each interview their myspace link will be provided for you all to check them out further more. Myspace Profile Showcase - Interview - Lucy

Lucy Goosey as I like to call her is one of my best friends in the world. You think I'm kidding right? No! She hails from England! She has the accent to prove it! Anyone can mimic that lovely British accent right? I can't but hers is authentic. Lucy's an artist! Not a singer or rapper. You know the type of artist that draws? Ooooh! That? Yep! She is wicked!(((as she likes to say herself))) I'm really getting into the British slang as some of it has rubbed off on me. We are not talking all about art though. We are talking about everything under the sun even witchcraft! Find out what Lucy thinks about love, children and America among other things.

DO U BELIEVE IN LOVE AT FIRST SIGHT? I think so, It hasn't happened to me before. But yes I do believe in it.

DO U THINK THE END OF THE WORLD IS NEAR? I hope not. I have too much to do, plus I want to have some babies first!

TEA OR COFFEE? Tea! Hey Im english and I do love a "cuppa"!! Has to be milky tho.

WHAT ARE YOUR THOUGHTS ON WITCHCRAFT? I don't really think about it, nor do I believe in anything like that.

WHAT ARE THE FIRST ART SUPPLIES U EVER BOUGHT? When I first got into it properly, I got myself a tool box and filled it with brushes, pens, acrylic paints scapels, and I couldn't live without a sketchbook.

WHAT ARE YOUR PET PEEVES? Bad manners! When people eat with their mouth open or eat loudly thats disgusting. I also hate when I show a picture, that I have been working on and instead of looking at the work thats gone into it. They pick out the one thing they feel is wrong when most of the time it isn't I really hate that!! A tutor once told me, that if people around me say my work is good, then its probally not!! haha! but the people who KNOW will KNOW when its good!

HOW IS IT TO GROW UP IN ENGLAND? Its ok. I have never known any different. When I was a kid, I always wanted to go to school in America, because it always looked so fun on tv, and like they didn't have to wear school uniform which I was always envious of. But I grew up ok, I had a roof over my head and felt safe. I live so close to the city so there were always things to do, such as going up the west end on saturdays with friends, or going to the parks etc. It was fun.

WHAT IS YOUR ATTITUDE TOWARDS AMERICANS? This is an interesting question!! I love Americans!! All of my idols are American lol. I live to take people as they are, so I tend not to think anything about anybody. However! When I went to L.A last summer I was very supriseed at how rude the "rich" were- bad manners...not everybody! but some, and how friendly the regular people were. I hate bad manners and I think that regardless of what someone has no human life is better than another. Also in England (maybe just London but...) I think everybody mixes better and there isn't such a "line" as I felt there was where I went.

HOW WOULD YOU DESCRIBE YOUR STYLE? Personal Style: Fashionable, Glittery, Glitzy, Bright. I love wearing trainers I hate wearing heels! Even though I am wearing them more to carry myself as a lady. I am nearly 25, so its time to put the tracksuits to one side. Work Style. I want to be the closest thing to RAPS WARHOL!!!!! Thats my aim. My work is neat, tidy, Bold and unique. I want to pave the way for all the artists out there who feel like me and maybe not comply to the Art Scene....We can have our own scene....I am trying to fuse Music and Art, Hip hop and art. and Be a leader in my game...Just like Mary J Blige!! and all the other elite rappers and musicians.

WHAT WAS THE FIRST PIC U EVER DREW? The first important pic I ever drew was one of Brandy, and thats what got me into my style of painting/drawing celebrities. I also made a life sized model of her from chicken wire and plaster of paris. I was 14 and by the time the show was ready it had all caved in. It was a disaster!! and my sculpting days were over I stuck to drawing and painting. (I did get full marks for effort however)

WHERE DO YOU SEE YOURSELF IN TEN YEARS? Doing my Art with a gallery / studio, in everyplace they have a mr. chows! With some of my children. I want 5 or 6! and making my grandad proud.
