Artist Spotlight - Teedra Moses




Teedra Moses is a singer/songwriter who hails from New Orleans, LA. She is the mother of twins and her baby daddy is Rass Kass. Teedra released her debut, "Complex Simplicity" in 2004 with little fanfare. Eventually she would develop a fanbase and identity in music. She is responsible for working with a number or artists including Macy Gray, Christina Milian, Trina, and Nivea. Here is an interesting fact you may or may not know. She can be heard on the original version of Trina's "Here We Go".

I love Teedra, she's a real, talented singer/songwriter. Sadly, as with most artists of her kind she is mostly ignored. I'm glad she's got a cult following and is still coming out with records though. I still never checked out her debut. (though I still bump "Better Woman")

She must have made a nice profit on her writing/arrangement on the Trina track, it was a decent sized hit. I heard her version too, its actually not as well sung as Kelly's which is actually usually the case with writers I guess. Thanks for brining the heat as per Lamar!
