I recently had the chance to hook up with Jen and find out more about this lovely young lady.

Jennifer is 20 years old. She attends the University of North Texas. She is a journalism major. One day she hopes to write for Vibe and Rolling Stone magazine. Big tings a gwan! She is a huge San Antonio Spurs fan. She is a theatre nerd. She dabbles in writing supsense/mystery stories. She runs several other sites dedicated to Mariah Carey, her favorite singer!

Jen on her leading men:
Vin Diesel, Robin Thicke, Justin Timberlake, and Gary Dourdan(CSI). It is something about blue-eyed soul that does something to her.

Jen on singers with the best hair:
Mariah Carey always does it for her no matter the decade. Christina Aguilera, Beyonce, and Alicia Keys also were mentioned.

Jen on the upcoming presidential election:
It's about time we have some changes, some new perspectives, some fresh faces.

Jen on Teena Marie:
She loves her songs and album concepts. Her songs are fun to sing along to. She suggest we all check out Teena's "Emerald City" album along with "Starchild."

Jen on blogging trends gon bad:
She hates the idea of bloggers stealing links and not giving the proper credit. She wants "No More Drama" just like Mary!

Jen on music industry oversaturation:
The industry is full of overpromoted untalented singers, without saying any names. We can all assume who she's referring to. She wants the more forgotten and underground singers to get their due with Grammy nominated albums and accolades galore.

Jen on 50 Cent's new album:
She is not a fan! She doesn't care if he sells any records. Besides she's more into Common and Lupe anyway!

Jen's hidden talents:
(Certainly they are not hidden anymore) Playing the piano and clarinet. She is also a mean baker and will bake any Martha Stewart under the kitchen table.

Jen is freaky for:
Music and Chocolate...mmhmm I bet she is!
