Ashanti comes in at #3 on the list of the Top 5 Most Hated Artists. The first bout of "hate" came with the Soul Train Awards Entertainer of the Year award of which Ashanti was to receive. Thousands of people signed a petition(the first in many petitions to follow for similar artists) that Ashanti was not deserving of the award. Ashanti's vocal ability and dancing is often questioned and ridiculed. It is the reason why Ashanti comes in at #3 on the list of the Top 5 Most Hated Artists.
