Ne-Yo says Whitney's new album is boring

Ne-Yo, in all his cocky glory recently said Whitney's upcoming album is.........................boring! He said a lot of the songs are in reference to her return. He also went onto say he hopes to bring some excitement into the record. First of all, Ne-Yo is a very gifted songwriter. He is the go-to guy for a hit single. But all of Ne-Yo's songs have the same melody. I just don't see how he plans to do something different for Whitney. He said it though, so we shall see.
