Where R They Now - Female Rap Version

Nas has been making noise with his "Where R They Now" joint. He has also recorded several versions of the song. Different versions concentrate on rappers from all coasts of the world. I figured this would be an opportune time to present to you, "WHERE R THEY NOW - THE FEMALE RAP VERSION!"

• Rah Digga - Flipmode's 1st lady is selling music online and keeping in touch with fans via live journal.
• Sole' - The Indian raptress has settled down into married life with Ginuwine. Her second album was shelved. There have been no rumors of an upcoming album.
• Mia-X - The self-proclaimed mouth of the south has been laying low in recent years. She has suffered a pair of family tradegies over the years. I remember seeing a myspace page up awihle back. New musc is "possibly" on the way.
• Amil - The Roc's 1st lady was dropped due to poor sales and label politics. Amil has recorded some new material. Whether or not she has a new label is unclear at this time. She was featured alongside Lucy Diamonds on a track called "Glamorous Life" awhile back.
  
• Gangsta Boo - She was one of the many femcees to come out of the south. I heard that she has since went Gospel.
  
• Khia - She was recently featured on Janet's "So Excited" single. She recently put out a mixtape and her "Gangstress" album. She also called out a few fellow femcees shortly before the release of her album.
• Foxy Brown - She has stayed in the headlines over the years for several incidents. Foxy is said to be putting the finishing touches on her long awaited "Black Roses" album.
• Lil' Kim - She is said to be re-releasing her "Naked Truth" album later this year.
  
• Eve - Her new album, "Here I Am" is set to be released in April. Her first single (where she is singing) is produced by The Neptunes.
• Trina - She is currently working on a new album. She left Atlantic but is still with Slip-N-Slide. She recently released a mixtape with guest appearances and freestyles. She is also said to be included on the upcoming Remy, Shawnna, and Jacki-O album.
• Remy Ma - She has a reality show and two new albums in the works. One album is her solo one and the other is her group with Shawnna and Jacki-O.
• Shawnna - She is working on the group album with Remy and Jacki-O.
• Jacki-O - She is working on a new solo album and the group album with Remy and Shawnna.
• MC Lyte - Lyte has kept busy as an actress most recently on "Half N Half." There has been no news concerning her on the music front.
  
• Missy Elliott - She recently reunited with Timbaland on her upcoming "The First Lady" album.
• Charli Baltimore - She is said to be on Scott Storch's label. I didn't know he even had a label. She is also said to be making an appearance on Cam's new album, "Shade of Black."
• Lady Luck - She was dropped from Def Jam. She battled Remy and lost. She made a diss towards Remy that went unnoticed.
• Gloria Velez - She is said to be a rapper. She has an album that might or might not come out.
  
• Babs - The first lady of the streets is working on her upcoming Bad Boy debut,
  "Escape From Brooklyn."
  
• Da Brat - She has become a reality TV star. Most recently appearing on "The Surreal Life" and next "Celebrity Fit Club." Brat is also working feverishly on her upcoming album.
