Some New Ish
- *NEW* Dionne Warwick feat. Mya - Close To You - taken from Dionne Warwick's "Dionne & My Friends." Dionne's new album features covers of her extensive catalogue of music features todays hottest artists. Dionne and Mya give good vocal performances on this. This song was also covered by Tamia & Gerald Levert.
- Carl Thomas - I Wish - Carl's breakout hit from his debut, "Emotional." Carl is said to have signed to Universal/Umbrella Records headed by former Motown CEO Jheryl Bubsy. Tweet is also said to be on that label. So lookout for new music from Carl in the new year.
- Clipse feat. Pharrell - Mr. Me Too - I never really cared for this song back when it was released. I recently just started liking it. I had no idea they were talking about drugs though. I shouldn't of been suprised though given Clipse usually raps about drugs anyway.
- Webstar feat. Young B - Chicken Noodle Soup - This is the 8 minute version of the song from the latest dance craze, Chicken Noodle Soup. Chris Brown and Janet Jackson has incorporated this quirky dance into their performances.
- *NEW* Lloyd feat. Lil' Wayne - You - Don't be so quick to count The Inc. out. Lil' Wayne assists on this midtempo ballad that samples "True" by Spandau Ballet. The song is currently racing up the R&B charts, and it happens to be one of my favorite songs of the moment. *goes to listen*
- Mase feat. Total - What U Want - one of my favorites from Mase' debut "Harlem World." We can expect to hear some new music from Mase in 2007! Diddy and 50 finally deaded their beef and worked out their differences.
- *NEW* Pharrell feat. Jay-Z - Young Girl - the newest single from Pharrell's "In My Mind" album. If you've heard the album this track is originally mixed with another. This is the "single" song in single format.
- SWV - Right Here (Human Nature) - this is the remix/Human Nature version of "Right Here." This single was for the "Free Willy" sdtrk. Member that?!? This remix incorporates Michael Jackson's "Human Nature" song to fine effect.
- SWV - Weak - perhaps one of SWV's best songs. This song was later remade by teen pop sensation JoJo to fine effect.
