Danja Upset Over Whitney Houston Grammy Snub!

Record producer Danja, who helmed two tracks from from Whitney Houstons Platinum comeback album I Look to You, has addressed the recent Grammy snub which saw the diva walk home with zero nominations despite pushing her album forward to meet the Grammy deadline.

“I’m a little disappointed because she put together a classic album. Her overall comeback is something to be noted but I’m a believer that great people and great music will always show its head,” he told Billboard.com.

Clive Davis insisted that 'I Look To You' be pushed up to compete in the Grammy nominations but I guess Grammy wasn't feeling it like that.

Kelly Rowland Mad At Destiny's Child Lawsuit!

According to the NY Daily News singer Kelly Rowland is reportedly furious with Mathew Knowles and Beyonce after being dragged into a copyright-infringement lawsuit for the Destiny’s Child hit “Cater 2 U”.

Kelly and her DC bandmates Michelle Williams and Beyonce were almost forced to fly to Chicago for the trial, but at the eleventh hour the case was conveniently settled out of court. An insider however has spoken out to the media and lifted the lid on Kelly’s fury over the legal drama.

“Matthew [Knowles] has a long history of trying to get songwriters to add Beyoncé’s name to songs she didn’t compose, just so she gets publishing royalties,” the insider says of Daddy Knowles, who managed the group. “That information eventually became widely known, and now anyone who wants to accuse Kelly or Destiny’s Child of stealing material has ammunition to file a lawsuit. Kelly is livid.”

“Kelly isn’t happy having to fight these allegations,” continues the source. “She feels as though this is just another mess that Matthew got them into while only trying to serve the sole interest of his daughter.”

Kelly’s friendship with Beyonce has reportedly been on the rocks ever since she fired Mathew as her manager and took control of her career. The once firm friends haven’t been seen together in months, with Rowland failing to attend Beyonce Billboard Women of The Year ceremony despite bandmate Michelle Williams showing up to lend her support.

“She and Beyoncé remained cordial at first,” the source says. “But things have gotten tense since Kelly griped that Matthew is the cause of this lawsuit.”

Destiny's Child and more importantly Beyonce is always getting sued over a song. I feel like if she just wrote her own songs or stopped copying so many people's ideas, she would have less lawsuits.
