News Flash: Akon To Be Acquitted

R&B singer Akon hopes to get the one and only Michael Jackson on his first single for his upcoming album, "Acquitted" due this May. Akon recently worked with Jackson the re-release of his mega-selling "Thriller" album. While there is no official word on the album's first single, Akon revealed that he and buddy T-Pain will tour later in the year and that Pain is working on a new album, the follow-up to his RIAA Gold-certified, "Epiphany" album which contained the hit singles, "Buy U A Drank" and "Bartender".

Famed girl group Danity Kane are releasing their new album, "Welcome To The Dollhouse" on March 18. Lead single "Damaged" has been released and the video will premiere shortly. Click here to get a sneak preview of the album!

News Tidbits:
Though the official numbers won't be in until Wednesday March 5 megastar Janet Jackson has the #1 album in the country with her latest, "Discipline" selling roughly 180K units. Go Jan!

Forget Akon, I want to hear MICHAEL's first single, bring him back I'm not a fan but I do like Akon's production at times so bring Michael back out of hiding Akon, we want to hear some NEW material! Isn't Akon's first single from that album the one with T-Pain Lamar? The video's out now right? Or is that the track with T-Pain from "Konvicted", I'm confused!

Charli is a joke, she needs to come back with some viable music that's a surefire hit like Ashanti and Ja Rule have and THEN start talking about all that crap!

I am definitely copping Danity Kane and Day26's albums they sound hot from the snippets and Bad Boy always brings the heat! Have you hear the samplers Lamar?

I like Charli Baltimore. I agree she needs to put some new music out. She has had a pretty tough time though getting an album out. And I'm interested in Danity Kane's album not sure about Day 26 yet though.
