Daily Roundup: Paula Abdul Banned
American Idol denmom Paula Abdul is riding high with current single, "Dance Like There's No Tomorrow". The song's current video which leaked online awhile back has reportedly been banned by MTV. What is it with MTV banning videos so much lately? The former pop star plans to record a new album with remixes and new tracks alike. A "Dance Like There's No Tomorrow" remix is being produced by Akon. Paula's upcoming album will be her first album since 1995's "Head Over Heels". Paula's return to the limelight just adds to the list of old school performers who have made a recent resurgence in the music field. In recent years we have had offerings from such luminaries as Charlie Wilson, Teena Marie, Lionel Richie, and more.
I was watching BET's "The Black Carpet" show last night and they reported that rappers Remy Ma and Papoose are engaged! The hip-hop duo will tie the knot this summer. Apparently Remy Ma is said to be the reason for the said beef between Papoose and Fat Joe. Who would of thought?
